LEA Finances 40 Projects in Landscaping, Roof Tiling, Waste Water Treatment

The Lebanese Environmental Action (LEA) is another initiative by the Central Bank of Lebanon (BDL). LEA aims at offering subsidized loans for projects dealing with air quality, water, and the environment. Till date, more than 40 projects all over Lebanon are financed by LEA. Solutions include waste water treatment plants, rain water collection, landscaping, and also traditional roof tiling and stone cladding systems. A special session dedicated exclusively to the delegates of the International Beirut Energy Forum 2016 will be dedicated to discuss the LEA procedures, criteria for applying, and evaluation methodologies. The session will include representatives of an international donor active in the sustainable agriculture sector.
